Our CV Writing Process

1. Discovery

After you’ve placed your order we will thoroughly examine your old CV and any information you submitted with your order. We need to have a good understanding of your personal background, experience, and professional achievements

2. Surface Digital Background Check

Once we’ve been through the information you provided we go looking for any data about you that’s publically available online. This is important because potential employers carry-out these checks routinely. Updating your social media accounts can also be a good way to display exactly what you want prospective employers to see. So think of it as a marketing opportunity.

3. In-depth Consultation

Your consultation usually happens within 24 hours of your order, depending on your availability. We ask you a range of questions to elaborate on the information you provided initially. Many of the questions we will ask will be what most employers will ask so it’s like an informal interview in essence. It takes place over our live chat app, messaging service, or a call. Sometimes you may need to email through more information.
We will also let you know if we found anything in your digital background check that you should change.

4. First Draft

Expect to receive your first draft 48 hours after you’ve placed your order. Your consulting writer will curate all of your best traits into a captivating CV that will jump-out at potential employers. And once they pick it up, they won’t be able to put it down.

5. Bespoke Design

We design the layout and graphical elements of your CV and cover letter to match the content, your industry, and the employer if we know precisely who will be handling your application. Just like you, no two CV’s or cover letter are the same.

6. Review

You will typically receive your first draft 48 hours from when you placed your order. Your CV writer will ask you to go through it, make sure it's accurate, and check that you’re pleased with the content and layout. Most first drafts will require some changes which is what we expect. It’s a brilliant opportunity to further refine your application. After you’ve responded with your comments it can take upto 48 hours to receive the finished product, depending on how many changes are needed. It’s time to start applying for your dream job.

7. 30-Day Success Debrief

Our journey together doesn’t end once we send you your documents. We’ll contact you approximately 30 days after you’ve received your order to check how many interviews or job offers that you’ve received. If you haven’t been successful in getting an interview yet we’ll review the jobs you’ve applied for, any feedback from potential employers, and then rewrite your CV accordingly. Your success is our success.
